Teaching your kids is not only about fluency in English. Their progress will give them more confidence and encourage more positive attitude towards learning.

General English for children
(also online)

A private language course can supplement school English lessons. Why does your child go to a sports club after school? Because it is fun there. Learning a language can be a lot of fun too! In a small group or in one-to-one lessons.

For my regular courses I use children-friendly English teaching materials. In addition to books there are audio and video materials. Role-play dialogues and playful activities enable practical use of the language.

My online course library from Oxford University Press offers a variety of English books with professionally illustrated texts, artistic audio files and interessting activities. The books are offered for different levels. So the students of all levels can enjoy the reading.

School syllabus tuition

Often school marks and efficiency of learning depend on teaching methods. Topics from the school books can be clearly explained and easily practiced by means of good additional materials.

In my tuition we work on

  • English grammar,
  • reading comprehension,
  • listening comprehension,
  • text writing
  • test analysis.

Exam preparation courses

Before a regular or a final exam a short intensive course can be very usefull. We work on improving language skills and practice every component of the upcoming exam. In addition to a higher level of knowledge, we aim at the growing language confidence, which essentially reduces the level of stress before and during the examination.

English for small children?

Why not?

Not many children are lucky to live in a multilingual family, which would mean to be growing up and playing in different languages already at early age. So, languages not spoken in the family are therefore often "foreign".

Give your child the chance to learn English in a game. You may even feel like taking part yourself and, for a definite time communicating with your child only in the foreign language. Is it worth trying?
